Who We Are
CEE CA SEC is an independent platform for economic integration, policy dialogue and sustainable transformation between Central Europe (CEE) and Central Asia (CA). We operate at the intersection of economic cooperation, governance reform, environmental sustainability and strategic communication. Our mission is to strengthen regional connectivity by aligning economic competitiveness, institutional resilience and inclusive development. In a rapidly changing geopolitical and economic environment, Central Europe and Central Asia are increasingly interconnected through trade corridors, energy routes, value chains and academic cooperation. However, sustainable integration requires more than infrastructure — it requires coordinated policy frameworks, capable institutions, competitive private sectors and informed societies. CEE CA SEC addresses this need. At the same time, we recognize that innovation, resilience and reform impulses increasingly emerge beyond traditional transatlantic frameworks. Many countries of the Global South have developed pioneering approaches in areas such as climate adaptation, informal sector integration, digital governance, community-based resource management and inclusive entrepreneurship. CEE CA SEC is therefore open to knowledge, skills and experiences from other world regions — particularly the Global South — and actively promotes triangular cooperation formats. By reconnecting with markets, communities and reform models across Africa, Latin America, South and Southeast Asia, we aim to enrich regional development strategies and foster diversified global partnerships.
